Search for Pandya's replacement: Dube emerges as a potential option

India is considering Shivam Dube as a potential replacement for Hardik Pandya. Dube bowled in the second T20I against Afghanistan, and although he conceded 20 runs, the experience will benefit him. He has improved his bowling after losing weight and took 6/23 in a Ranji Trophy match. Dube’s career has seen an uptick since he started playing under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings, who bought him in the IPL auction in 2022. The following 2023 IPL season was a breakaway one for Dube.
