Sarfaraz Khan's first reaction to maiden India call-up

On Monday, the BCCI selection committee included Sarfaraz, left-arm spinner Sourabh Kumar, and all-rounder Washington Sundar in the squad for the second Test against England. This marks Sarfaraz's inaugural national call-up following an impressive display in domestic cricket and notably in the India A series against England Lions. Sarfaraz was included in the squad after India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and batter KL Rahul were ruled out due to injuries.
