With a gritty unbeaten 70, middle-order batter KL Rahul took India to 208 for 8 at stumps on a rain-curtained opening day of the Boxing Day Test when the Proteas pacers were at their absolute best. Lauding the heroic effort from the middle-order batter, legendary Sunil Gavaskar said that Rahul has been a different batter since his return from injury.
