IPL auction on Dec 19, each team to have Rs 100 cr purse: Report

The auction is reportedly scheduled to be held in Dubai, which will be the first instance of an IPL auction being held overseas. As per the report, the purse for each franchise has been increased to Rs 100 crore, which is a raise of Rs 5 crore compared to last season, while the teams have been given the deadline of November 15 to release their lists of retained and released players. The Indian team will be on its tour of South Africa at that time.
